Changing coil

Does anyone know if a coil pack can be changed without removing the IM?

I just did my wires today without removing the IM, and I don't see how you could change the coils without removing it. Just my $.02.

Coil Change

Followed my RAVE instructions and removed IM and replaced the coil pack.All in all it was not that difficult.

I don't know which year is your Disco, but on a DI you do not have to remove the IM to change the coil pack. After disconnecting the coil pack harness and spark plug wires, there are 2 small bolts/nuts on each side of the coil pack bracket. Once everything is removed, the coil pack can wiggled out.
