Glad you found that the A/C idle-up was enough to get you over the hump. Perhaps there's a way to wire in a switch or jumper to make the ECU think the A/C is on all the time.
John, thanks for the clarification. I never thought they were actual misfires based on all the work to try to solve it and on how well the truck ran - other than a little rough at idle.

The loaner performance ECU from TWS must take the lopey idle into account as I never had "misfire" codes for the 3 weeks I ran it. I have one on order.
