*** for plugs, buy either the Champion double platium or the Bosch Platium Plus 4's and use a set of 8 mm Magnacore wires.
Are you going to replace the wires yourself?

 

i have found out she sometimes put mid grade in. i can put the plugs and wires on if my mechanic cant do it. is there anything special that i should know doing the plugs and wires? he wants to pull the plug and check it out and then check the wire on #3 cylinder, then go from there....

 

I would go ahead and order a set of Magnacor 8MM wires and Bosch +4 plugs. If it needs #3 replaced, do all of them, and at your mileage, it is getting to be time. These plugs and wires are the best for your truck... The wires are a little difficult to change, and if you don't have seconday air emissions, you can do them one by one without removing the intake, but it is a lot easier with the intake off. Might get a gasket for that too...
