The relay will be labeled.

Edit: Sorry, XRAD is right. Technically 85 will have power too but it's the coil side. Pin 30 goes through the aforementioned fuse and is the circuit you want to use for safety purposes. Here's a zoom of the diagram

You can physically disassemble the fan and inspect the bearings and brushes/armerature. The bearing on the back plate can be removed and flipped around(usually ovalled and brass material).

That’s now the plan. I was gonna jump the relay like suggested but the fan is completely seized and jumping it will definitely just blow the fuse.

So I’m gonna take the fan out and replace it with one from the junk yard. Attached a picture of the fan for reference. I have no idea how I am going to get the top bolt out of the fan with the hood latch in the way shown in the second

picture. I am open to any suggestions.

right on. Do you know if the code I am getting is caused by this or something completely unrelated?

It’s actually a 10mm now that I think about it but no, not familiar with that code.

Got the motor ripped out and it’s completely seized and won’t spin at all even with some force. Now to order a new one. Anybody got the part number of the motor itself ?

Hey guys just wanted to post an update. Replaced the fan with a cheap amazon won that pushed roughly the same amount of air and reset all engine codes. Everything went smooth and the fan turned on under the specific conditions and when jumping the relay.

I will post an update in a couple days to see if P1481 comes back or if that solved it.

Thanks Again
