nope...just rechecked the gas cap.
i made an appointment w/the dealership for next monday. that's the earliest.
they said it might just be a bad sensor.

where is the purge valve? What is the entire name of the part? is this part easilyordered(eg. oempartsdirect.com)? I have no local dealership to purchase from.

You don't want to just go out an order parts, especially if you have never delt with a purge problem, need to find out from a mechanic exactly what is wrong first.
