Default Chevy P/S Pump on D2

I know this is a popular swap on the D1, but has anyone actually done this on a D2, and is it as straight forward?

I would think so, probably, though I'm not very familiar with the mechanical differences of a D1. I'll sell you that one I've got for $85 shipped though.

I'm starting to think my clicking problem is the pump, and not a lifter. You have Paypal?

Cool

so all this money spent on cams. lifters, rocker, oil pumps, sleeves & engines and it was just the power steering pumps all along

what about all the power steering pumps that have been rebuilt and replaced already they didn't notice the noise gone?

Oh, they all needed lifters and a cam.
