Default Clicking noise coming from engine area

2003 disco, 60K miles. Clicking noise......accelerates when RPM's get quicker but noise is not always there. Oil levels are good. Does it have to be a lifter?

Could be a lifter, could be low oil pressure, could be the famous rocker arm tin "cup" coming apart.
First thing to do is have the oil pressure tested.

Prob your oil pressure .. My oil pressure light comes on when the rpm's are under 1000. but the pressure is ok when driving. Dealer said my rober would not last 500 more miles and I needed a new engine. I told him to go **** himself, and 20,000 miles later its still going good. My recommendation ... Oil change every 3000 miles, THICK THICK oil and add slick 50 ..

a bad oil pump will not pump thick oil. To the OP, have you checked to see if you are in the bad oil pump VIN range?
