Default clunk from drivers side

on my 99 DI there is a clunk that just started on the drivers side front when accelerating, it only seems to do it when i first start driving and its cold, and ideas? it has 80k on it

I would first suspect the joints in your front driveshaft. Crawl underneath and see if there is ANY play between the parts of the shaft. You do not want to drive it with a bad shaft, it could explode and take out your tranny. Can you grease all three joints in your shaft?

Also, I noticed that if your cdl is engaged that there is a clunk when you first hit the gas. I don't drive on the street too much with it engaged because of this.

I would check all the bushings, D1's do go thru them.
Make sure everything is tight, especially the shock, also make sure the shock bushings aren't gone same with the radius arm bushings.
