Default clunk in the trasfer case

Hi, I've got a 2002 D2 with a hi/low shifting T-case in there. Was pulling out into a main st. a few months back and a big clunk happened under the truck. It drives and shifts fine but as you can see from the video it has a major clunk happening. I think it's the T- case and it clunks locked or open. Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts? In the video, looking at the front driveshaft into T-case you can see it jerk on each clunk.
Thanks for any help.
FYI, I've purchased a used T-case for a replacement.

Not sure if it was an illusion in the video but it looked like the t-box side of the front driveshaft was thwopping.
Have you removed the front driveshaft (locked diff) and still heard that noise?

Edit:
Have you checked for play in the shaft/case at the connection?

You say "hi/low shifting T-case" and then refer to "locked or open." All D2 transfer cases have high/low shifting. "Locked or open" usually refers to the second function of locking the case so that both outputs are equal. Many (most?) 2002 trucks didn't have that from the factory.
Could the clunking just be the front driveshaft failing?

@toofaroffroad That front drive shaft is dead - take it off before it let's go and you get to buy a new transmission. It is miracle it as lasted this long

Hi Richard, hope your well. The front driveshaft is actually new. I installed it right before the RL trip last fall.

@toofaroffroad I am well hope you are too, there is something very very wrong. I would still drop that drive shaft lock the CDL and see if the clunk is still there, it looked to me like the drive shaft was doing strange things.

Well….I want to apologize for wasting everyone’s time.
I removed the driveshaft today and the truck seems fine when diff is locked.

I just didn’t even think about driveshaft since the one in there has maybe 3 months of drive time on it.
it even looks brand new.
Ill reach out to Lucky 8. Maybe they’ll warranty it.
thanks for all the replies.

Good news. A drive shaft is an easier fix.

I am happy to hear that it is something much less expensive that the transfer case.
