Default Clunking Noise, Need Help...

I have a 95 Disco I and every time you quickly accelerate ore decelerate there is an ever growing clunking noise coming from the right side. Is is the CV joint? Hub Bearing? Half Shaft? Keep in mind it is smooth while in motion just on the decel and the excel... I am a deployed Marine and the wife is still driving it though it had just begun when i had left. If the problem gets worse with me not there i don't want her to take in and leave with bill for 2K cause she was taken advantage of. My hope is that it will hold out till I get home and I will fix it my self. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Default RE: Clunking Noise, Need Help...

Since it is only coming from one side I would have to say it is a CV joint.
Do you have a friend who can fill the swivel ***** full of grease for her to see if it helps quiet the noise?
If not she can have a quick lube do it.
If that doesnt help I would stop driving it.
How long before your tour is over?
