Question Code 94 Evap. System large leak.

Any advise on this one? I have a check engine light, and downloaded it using Ethos. Its a code 94, Evaporative system large leak detected. Could this be related to my engine racing during cold start? Any know areas to investigate first? Going to replace the gas cap first as a cheap initial measure. Thanks in advance! 2000 Disco 2 SLS ACE 67000 miles.

Vac line open somewhere? Cracked/dry rotted hose, etc.

Where did you get that code number from, a gross leak on a D2 is a 455.
No it will not have anything to do with a high idle, that is another issue that you also need to take care of.
What have you checked so far?

If you have a scanner, does it read live data? If so, things like coolant temp sensor can play a role at cold start (un-plugged they make ECU read -40F, so more gas is supplied).

The IACV is a computer controlled step motor vacuum leak - please DO NOT REMOVE and clean as your first step before a bit more research. Many DIY have tinkered with the IACV and rendered truck non-operational.

Default Evap leak

So far I have checked all engine bay vacuum hoses and listened for hissing noises, checked gas cap and fuel filler leading to gas tank. When I read the code all it came up with was 94, am I using the wrong OBD2 scanner? Its a Snap on Ethos handheld. Not that this is related but I'm also getting sub 10 mpg. Or is it?Code 94 Evap.
