Default Code for Crank Position Sensor ??

So I have a code back now for Crank Position Sensor. Tonight it wouldn't start for a while and then did when it cooled down. What is strange is that I replaced this part 6-8 months ago. What is the deal with that? Nothing else would throw that code would it? Would anything else make it go bad premature? That is not an easy thing to get on and off, really don't want to keep replacing that part.

Get a Bosch sensor.
I got the cheaper Duralast sensor and I had horrible issues for a couple of weeks.
I installed the Bosch brand 3 months ago and my D2 is running great!

If you get it from Auto Zone most of the time it’s a Bosch in the box. I have had one cheapie from Auto Zone, it failed, took it back & got a Bosch. Just ask to look at it before you buy it to verify.
