Codes....
Just bought an ODBII scanner and plugged it in:
These are the codes, some of which were in the system twice I wrote them ALL down in the order the scanner gave them.
P0300 Random / Multiple cylinder misfire. Excess emissions.
P0308 Cylinder 8 misfire
P0455 Evap emissions leak (large leak)
P0304 Cylinder 4 misfire
P0302 Cylinder 2 misfire
P1412 SAI system fault LH side- air delivery not reaching catalysts
P1415 SAI system fault RH side- air delivery not reaching catalysts
P1300 Random / Multiple cylinder misfire
P0308 Cylinder 8 misfire (duplicate)
P0304 Cylinder 4 misfire (duplicate)
P0306 Cylinder 6 misfire
P0302 Cylinder 2 misfire (duplicate)
The CEL came on after I replaced the wires. And yes, they are on correctly...
Is there a chance that some codes may have caused other ones? The interesting part is that the misfire is happening on all even cylinders... It is not noticeable unless you start up the truck about 2 hours after having driven it. So, not when it is totally cold, not when it is operating temperature either. It happens for 10 seconds right after start up, then disappears....
I am going to clear them, check all the hoses and see if the light comes on again. Any suggestions on what to look for are welcome!
Thanks!

That's kind of what I am thinking... I am trying to remember if I forgot to re-attach one of the hoses after I did the wires. I pulled it all apart again a day or two later and put it all back together. I may have "fixed" it by putting it all back together the second time.
We'll wait and see...
