FYI
P0171 " SYSTEM TOO LEAN BANK 1"
P0174 " SYSTEM TOO LEAN BANK 2"

Usually this would indicate a faulty MAF as stated above.....

P0733 "gear 3 incorrect ratio"
P0734 "gear 4 incorrect ratio"
it's highly unlikely that the gearing has magically changed....but more likely that the maf has caused your ecu to be a little goofy.....

do you have a code reader so you can clear these yourself ?

i do not have a code reader....I'm using just a fram air filter from murrays is that good enough....

yea, that is good enough. As long as it is a regular paper filter. The K&N will kill your MAF.

what about using an amsoil air filter or mann air filter??? anyone have any thoughts

who has the best MAF to buy??? I usually buy from AB??

Just buy a regular old paper filter whether it be a fram, napa gold, mann or OEM. Get a genuine rover MAF. Check with will tillery.

Do not use any high flow filter that you have to oil. The oil can come off the filter and will instantly kill the MAF on a D2, as will trying to clean it.
