I tried what appears to be an Allmakes coil pack (ordered from Lucky8 Ebay) a few years ago. I was about to go offorad over the weekend. All packed and ready to head out with my son. Started the engine and it started misfiring. I had an Ultragauge which indicated a misfire. After an hour of dagnosis, I swapped back to the old Bosch coil pack. Started right up and everything ran smoothly. Good thing it did not happen when I was out in the bush.

Got it back together w the Allmakes, seems to run fine. Turns out it was the coil pack that went bad. Hopefully it stays that way. Removing the SAI would make this such an easier truck to work on.

Side note, with the All Makes coil packs and the AC Delco wires, the assembly is probably 2-3mm taller than the Bosch w the AC Delco cables. It makes it a bit more tricky to reinstall, you have to pry the metal pipes back a bit to get the assembly back in. I think it is AC plumbing? Goes into the firewall, steel pipes.

Steel plumbing will be the heater. A/C plumbing is alloy and the connections are secured with bolts. Both of them are off to each side of the engine though.
