Yeah, I havent owned a streetbike in over 3 years, sucks.
I love to climb hills too. The steeper and taller the better!
I'de like a street dirtbike, but I think it would get me in trouble. On a 1k with a quiet muffler, you just twist the throttle and vanish, with a street dirt bike, not so much.
I'm respectful of others property, but there are some hills and jumps that are pretty tempting, lol.
My friend sold an xr600 and got a street legal Honda 250 dirtbike a few years back(2013)
The newer 250 feels as strong as the old xr600, and is lighter. It has some stupid safety in the ecu though. I'vd tried everything, and I can't buy a wheelie on it! Even a 1st gear redline clutch drop does nothing.

Can clutch the zx12r up in 3rd and cruise at 12'o'clock around 80mph lol.

My buddy just bought a yamaha upright 700 (fz07?)...stupid traction control won't allow you to wheelie at all. It will pop the wheel up about 6 inches and then bring it back down. You can pin it in first and keep it pinned and all it will do is this stupid bunny hop all the way down the street.
Can clutch the zx12r up in 3rd and cruise at 12'o'clock around 80mph lol.

The old zx12s ride great wheelies, like most bikes.
I'de call it more like 10 or 11 o'clock at 80mph.
12 o'clock is vertical, and only achievable at low speed.

I get that Japan can put things on a ship to California, cheaper than truck or air freight to Europe. But everything is higher in California.
I'm on the east coast in Virginia. Japanese parts are cheap here. As everywhere in the U.S.
Only exception would be California and the north east, NewYork, New Jersey, ect.
And still cheaper than Land Rover.
Which is also strange, since they can ship directly across the Atlantic.

It's funny that Japanese parts are so high there.

I tend to agree. The UK and EU people pay top dollar for everything including cars and car parts. When one compares US prices with European prices it becomes apparent there is an enormous price differential for most things. As Europeans we are all treated as mugs and suckers and the various governments 'cream off' exorbitant taxation from sales of whatever to support useless greedy politicians and the tens of thousands in the EU admin.
