It does require premium gas though. But the 3.5L V6 scoots (115mph and still climbing). 100,000 miles in 5 years and it was only in the shop once, timing belt at 60k.

Off road wise, my Rover is a 10, my Montero was a 9.75.

Keep the Disco, it does everything that the FJ does 5x better, plus you dont have to be replacing idler pulleys every month, or be worried about overheating as soon as you place a steel bumper in the front, you wont have to pay 2 grand for a 2" liftand with the disco you wont have 18wheeler blind spots...I have a friend of mine that has an 07 FJ with the e-locker on the back a minor lift31's Toyo Open Country MT tires and my 03 disco stock can keep up with him specially going up and down really steep hills, and all the times we went off roading the only thing that broke on my truck is the transfer case linkage and he has replaced a lot of parts...
PLus the good thing about the disco is that you will never lose it in a parking lot
