The 180F stat in cold climates still makes 190+ heat acording to members with new stats and digital scanners. And when I lived on FM1960, we had 1/8 inch of snow and they closed schools in Houston (early 80's). You start running your air conditioner in late January....

Ok the warm (grey) will function properly and it is of better quality, my 2 cents your temps will drop more with this then with the motorad 439-180. It does cost about double the price compared to the motorad 180 but you do get a lr product and it appears to bring temps lower!!!
