Default Coolant leak by the firewall??

After replacing a leaky throttle body heater plate and replacing a number of the OE clamps with worm drive clamps, I am still catching a faint odor of coolant. The smell is seems to be in the area of the firewall, on the drivers side. I have detected any coolant on the ground and I don't appear to be leaking. Anybody have any thoughts?

If you are still needing to add coolant, go power scrub your engine, making it real clean and crawl under the truck to locate the problem. Do you know how to bleed the syytem, make sure you fill the coolant bottle every morning to the lid to make sure you don't over heat the engine.
If you are unable to find the leak, get the system pressure tested to 18 pounds for at least 15 minutes, that will then show you the leak. Most likely if it is leaking from the drivers side, then it is either the valley pan or head gaskets leaking.

Thanks mike. I don't know how to bleed the system, so any direction you can provide on the would be great. My loss rate does not seem to be significant, in that my addition of DEXCool since the repair has only been about an inch below the max line.
What I meant to say in the orginal posting was that I am NOT seeing any cool on the floor of my garage. I have let the car run a while and looked for visible signs. I will get the power washer out this weekend.

Here's a post that explains how to bleed the system:
