Coolant Recovery Tank Installation

Coolant Recovery Tank Installation
When you put in a new coolant recovery tank, knock off about 1/2" of rubber hose on the smaller 3/8" hoses. Overtime the ends get brittle and will simply **** coolant all over the place once they are reattached. This happened on my 01 D2. Don't forget to open the bleed screw and hold up the tank 6-8" above the engine so new coolant will take care of any air bubbles. Once coolant pours out of the bleed, simply re-attach the screw and install the new tank. And of course wear safety goggles and gloves. It was a fun little project. Along with the new tank, might as well get a new cap with it.
