i have an 04 by the way.
The post immediately above yours answers your question: "For one the fan is replaceable independent of the clutch and appears to be way more robust."
The combo is also much cheaper than anything OEM.

Unobjectionably... Yes! I've got 'em both on my V8.

The factory 2003/2004 fan is indeed pricey. It is great to have the Dorman / Hayden alternative.

Just curious ... does anyone know why the 2003/2004 came as a one-piece integrated vicous hub/fan blade assembly?
