Ok seems to be opening at 190 I can see through the top hole and the bottom hole at 195

Well it's not a stuck thermostat then. If it opens it opens, so I'd rule that out.

Well put in the lucky 8 this morning temps rise to 215 at times
put in the Atlantic British again stays at 204-206

something flow related is happening with the lucky 8 stat

I think at this point I'll stick to the Atlantic British stat
I'm really tired of draining coolant and all that crap stuff

Did you ever bypass the heater core? Just because the hoses are the same temps in and out doesn’t mean it isn’t clogged.

I'm not worried about the heater core I flushed it lots of heat
the Atlantic British stat drops my temps immediate
black britpart stat increases my temps

Poor coolant flow as you rev up more = water pump spins faster, and so does the fan clutch/fan. The britpart stat opens so it’s not a faulty stat (and britpart makes an OEM temp stat. Gotta read the actual F/C stamped on the thermostat itself to confirm). You’re gonna have some air in the system especially after just quick swapping parts. A complete cool down is overnight, when the system will automatically burp itself, then you check the bleed screw and remove what is left.

If you had a pyrex glass tube (like me) you could actually see your flow/bubbles.

Radiators are cheap, fan clutches/fan blades are cheap, but a HG job or new engine is not.

Curious if you are hearing any water fall or gurgling sounds from inside the cabin?

The stat is not good like I stated in previous comments
with the Atlantic British stat temps are ok
with the lucky 8 they are not ok
no water sounds from heater core
but I will Check level in the morning
