Just received my corrected radius arms from lucky 8, but I’ve run into an issue. Looks like the castor bushings provided for the chassis are slightly to large. I’ve tried cleaning out the radius arm hole and applied a small amount of grease with no luck. Lucky 8 is closed till Monday and wanted to get the project done this weekend. Any ideas?

I had exactly the same issue with these. Front aftermarket poly's were a bit loose and the rear bushings were way too tight. I ended up going with a set from adrenaline 4x4
because the terrafirmas rubbed badly with my slightly oversized tires and I needed 6 degrees. took a big press to get those bushings in. I still have the Tfirma set with rear bushings in the garage.....
cheap shipping to USA, seller was quick to email answers. I think they have 3 degree also......
I’ve put everything on old till I talk to lucky 8 tomorrow... they mentioned everything to should be able to be installed with out a press so I’m assuming they sent me the wrong chassis bushings.
as far a the radius arms go they look and feel very beefy.... I wouldn’t assume they would fail on me just by looking and holding them.
OK measured at 23.5" center of axle to wheel well, front and rear. I think stock is 19.5, so that means I have a 4" lift. The return to center and left/right steering is MUCH easier/better with 6 degree vs 3 degree correction. Rear arms stock. Poly axle bushing front, and OEM bushings for all other arm mounts. I think if you are 3-4" you should consider 6 degree arms. Tfirmas only come in 3 degree.
I'm not the first to have issues with the Tfirma's fitment, other's have also posted here on this same topic. My mechanic said they took 'some!' finessing to install while the adrenaline arms went right in 0 issues....
Yes, Tfirmas are super beefy and unlikely to fail, but still not forged like originals... but probably stronger than the adrenaline tubular style.... I don't plan on any rally racing. I did hit a BIG pothole a few years ago in prior life disco, bent the frame, but the front right OEM forged arm was still good.....
Anything with a metal sleeve like that needs to be installed with a press. The polys that dont have a sleeve can be installed without a press
yeah I realize that now, apparently the by hand pressed bushings are out of stock.... I’ve never had to press anything and considering buying a press 🤷🏻♂️
how many tons do you all think it’ll take to get that bushing in?
