Corrected radius arms

You might need more that 6 ton. I have a '12' ton and it was not easy even with mandrels. The diameter of the bushing tube overhangs the bore significantly like 1-2mm (dont remember exactly). The tube ends got a bit crushed going in. I wanted to measure the Tfirma bore against OEM rods but never got around to it.....maybe its the aftermarket bushings? I used 'OEM style' from AB : https://www.roverparts.com/Parts/RBX101730

1mm = .028", I'm.suprised they even went in, let alone if they were 2mm.
Doesn't sound like they were in spec to start with.
No wonder you struggled with a 12 ton press, and I'm suprised you got them in.

exactly! They wobble around the bore and almost no guide bevel. I did not want to crush them or damage the arms. Gave up and had the shop do it. they said same thing. Metal was peeling off the bushing tube.....

Take it by to a competent machine shop or something similar. They can press it in in no time, and itll save you the headache
