This is the brains of your ABS and TC.
I was hoping that he didnt not know the exact problem and was guessing, then you could say "well it may need this $2000 part, you better knock some serious coin off that asking price or I walk"
But like already mentioned it could be a bad hub.

The price of the truck does sound good.

Okay, I spoke with the gentleman again, and he lowered his price down (without prompting) to $7000. The head gaskets have not been replaced and apparently there is moisture buildup on one side of them. My guess is that they need to be replaced. I simply do not have the time to replace the gasket on my own so it will deffinately be in the shop to have that replaced. Obviously the MAF sounds easy, and if its just a hub for the TC light, then as long as its a repair that can be done in a few hours, I could probably manage that on my own as well, but the head gasket will take a few days of dedicated work--days which I don't have to spare at the moment. I'm assuming replacement will be a few grand?

Then armed with that info, I bet I could get him down to $~6500 and then have the car fixed up just nice. Time to get excited! I had that other thread going about another rover in Cali, but I think, unless the Cali guy will just give me a steal of a price, that this is the rover that I'm going to buy.
