Default Could be my Mass Air Sensor going bad?

My 2000 DII now has 16K after top end rebuild and 122.5K total. O2 sensors, spark plugs, wires were also replaced. The car starts well and runs good, until it fully warms-up. Then sometimes I do sense a slight hesitation, mostly under load, however, it seems like it would be missing slightly at idle also. This has been occurring during the last approx. 1000 miles. As I said, this occurs intermittently, and yes, I have been running a K&N oil impregnated air filter last 90K miles, which is known to cause Mass Air Sensor failure. Am I correct or am I wrong with my suspicion?

Yes, K&N's will at some point, kill a Bosch MAF, normally there are 3 codes that will show up, 2 for lean burn on banks A and B the third for either 3rd. or forth gear out of ratio.
Also your tranny will hunt for gears before final lock up, gas mileage will drop and your exhaust will stink.
Get rid of the K&N, use paper only and don't try to clean the MAF or that will kill it for sure.

Yes I agree with Mike take that crappy K&N filter out, its good for somethings but not a Land Rover MAF sensor, it made my Disco 1 Lucas MAF throw a P1178, which a hard lil stinker to track down. Now that I put in an STP paper filter I lost a few HPs but no more Check Engine Light

How much are you paying for the MAF, if over $130, get back to me cause I may save you some money.
