Default Couple of problems!!

My disco bless it has taken to sitting with one rear corner higher than the other and the suspension will go neither up nor down.

And, the rear door will not open from inside or out and recently has been difficult to close on the first time.

Any thoughts please??

Disco Mike will have the answer on your suspension. Pretty sure it is a computer problem.

Have you tried holding the lock up on the inside while someone tries to open from the outside? Take the little green oval off the cover and spray everything in there with some lube before you try anything...

actually I bet its a the height sensor on the higher one. Usually it tries to compensate by going higher as it can. To know for sure you have to look at the height sensors. You will found the counts are off. For example the lr might be 50 counts and the RR is 75 counts but yet the LR is higher then the RR.

and when you say rear door you mean cargo door. Cause alot of times its the handle sticking and or the latch. But if the handle is sticking and it won't open from the rear or the front then you need to get the child lock back up. You have to take a pick and push it up. It sucks but its the problem. Then get a new latch and you will be fine.

But it sucks to get the damn thing open.

125,000 and has had new bags within the last 5yrs and 30,000 miles. The car wasn't driven for a couple of months and now the back right corner is up to the max height as far as i can tell. The controls will not allow it to move either way, it chimes a couple of times and the light flashes on the dashboard and nothing happens.

Cheers

Does anybody know if it usual for the compressor not to run in these kinds of situations. Only I am trying to diagnose this problem without having the car in front of me as it is in the USA with my wife.
She has apparently tried to both lower and raise the car to see if it would correct itself and the light on the dashboard flashed the and she heard the audible tones when trying to go up (although nothing happened) and then when she tried to lower it with the trailer hitch remote nothing happened at all and now I’m wondering if the problem is more serious (I like to worry about my Rover you know)!!
Should I just replace the faulty sensor and then see what happens??

Make sure you lube the door latch and handle every 6 months with silicone spray.
Pop the Land Rover emblem off the cargo door and spray the handle and work it.
Also lube the door stay (the thing under the cargo door) with white lithium grease at the same time.
