Default Cruise not working

Mine has not been working, recently replaced the three hoses one from the TB, one from the brake, and one from under the headlight... I assumed that was the issue... no go...

The light on the button works, I get nothing on the cluster, and obviously the buttons on the steering wheel do nothing...

I noticed the box where the hose goes to under the headlight looked grease covered... what is that thing? Also could it be the cruise computer? How should I trouble shoot this?

That is the vacuum pump.

It could be the cruise computer. I'm facing the same problem right now, no success yet.

get under you dash and make sure the little plungers attached to you brake switch are pulled out all of the way. If you twist around and look up there, you will see what I mean. Mine sank back in and would not seat the switch. Also, I think I remember another line on the vacuum pump its self. You have to pull the pump to see it....Check the brake switch first, and make sure you are going over 27MPH

Good Luck!
