Going to replace both of the CV joints on the Disco and was wondering if you all could help me out with a few questions. I've already consulted the RAVE and know the remove and replace procedures but need a little clarification.

1. Do I need to replace the seals on the axel when doing this? Bought a kit from Lucky 8 and when I was on the phone they stated I wouldn't need the seals but the RAVE says to replace.

2. If I don't replace the seals I'm assuming I'll need to drain the front diff/axel.

3. Once I remove the hud how much force will I need to pull out the shafts (long and short).

I think that's it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

As long as you have it apart I'd replace the seals.
No you dont have to drain the diff, just top it off once done.
The shafts will come out pretty easy,l wiggle and pull.
