...and thank you for reporting back!! So many people have problems, post their symptoms on the forum, do some troubleshooting, then talk to Mike on the phone. Once the problem is fixed, nothing more is reported. If another member is having the same problem, they will probably read through the thread looking for a solution, only to find the only apparent solution is to call Mike, and the process continues ad infinitum.
Yes, I noticed the exact tendency- like hearing the joke but without the punch line. I tried to start a thread "Code Library- with answers" a day or two ago, but no takers so far.

Hi Disco Mike. I have a cylinder 4 misfire on a 2004 disco 2. I am at my wits end. I have switched out plug wires. The plugs are new. Also switched coil packs. Checked injector pulse no issue there. Installed a new injector for cylinder 4 also. Getting strong spark to the plug. Truck starts and rung great. Idles like a rock. Runs fine unless you get over about 2500 rpm or under heavy load then check engine light blinks and throws cylinder 4 misfire. Throttle position sensor appears to be working by looking at the live data. The only thing I can think of that could be causing this issue is either the ECM or possibly the cam position sensor. I would think that if it were the CPS I would be getting a random misfire not just cylinder 4. Do you have any ideas on this?
