Default D1 CDL Shifter install question

OK...so I've read through the instructions and have been searching several forums for hints about where to source the parts. I have everything I need to start the swap except the "10mm to 6mm bore reducers".

Where did you obtain these parts? I've tried all the local hardware stores (Home Depot, Lowes, Ace), Auto Parts stores (Advanced, Napa, Autozone), and even Fastenal. Nobody seems to have this item.

I know a lot of other D2 owners have completed this upgrade, so, where did you find this part, or how did you address the need for it?

I couldn't find them either. I just used the 6mm bolt and nut with washers. So far so good.

They sure do have a huge selection...do you remember whether you used a part with a 10mm outside diameter? The directions I've seen appear to differ on when size to use (8mm vs 10mm). From what I can find, it doesn't look like they have one with an 8mm outside diameter except for this: http://www.mcmaster.com/#reducer-bushings/=9g1wat
