D1 wiper arms are getting loose on D2

I built the swap up so big in my head I'm embarrassed to admit that it was so easy to do. I think it took me 10 minutes tops, once I got over the hurdle in my mind haha. Maybe you got a faulty kit.

The PO of the truck had D1 conversion kit installed. The wipers arms gave out on me, so I inspected them and concluded that the wiper arms got worn out. I bought a brand new set of D1 arms and it lasted about a year before exhibiting the same behavior as the previous set. Interestingly enough, I never saw the D2 nuts until recently, so I think that the problem can be partially resolved by procuring a right set of 'em nuts. But I also like the stock D2 setup due to better windshield coverage. If the difference between D1 conversion and D2 is a savings of $30/year due to cheaper blades, then I can forgo a few coffees and stick with the D2 config.
