There are no stupid questions.
I've been working on cars and bikes many years, but this is my first LR, I bought it last July.
It's slowly coming back to life.
So, lots of questions from me, on "what's the best way to do this?"
As you can see, there's alot of good people here willing to help, and I am very grateful for it.
I'm happy to do whatever I can for the next guy too.

I meant stupid in the sense that the question has been answered over and over. This is not my first British vehicle but it is my first one since the internet was invented so I have a lot of catching up to do.

I've got Prestone Dex-Cool in mine and don't have any issues. Dex-Cool is fine if you change it every few year.

Finding parts
1. locate part # on new.lrcat.com
2. Plug part number into lrdirect.com to find any superceded part #'s
3. Plug final part number into google to find best price (usually lrdirect.com)
4. Choose quality level depending on part. LRD workshop approved is usually the way to go, but for things like bolts it doesn't matter. Seals, some sensors, etc use genuine.

Thanks for the detail Jeff. My question was an example, not one I specifically had. Nice of you to reply however.
