What year is your truck? If it's a 99 or an 04, or some 01s, then you can just drop the front driveshaft and lock the CDL. You'll only have RWD, but it will drive fine.

Just wondering-
Is there a specific kind ouf grease I should use for this drive shaft?
I've always used Lucas Oil X-tra Heavy Duty Green on my vehicles.
