Default D2 Glove Box Wood Trim

I'm trying to remove the wood trim piece that goes along the top of the glove box on my D2. What's the best way to do this? Does the air bag have to be removed to access the nuts?

you have to pull down the glove box and remove the airbag to get to the back nuts.

Yup. Check out page 80-26 in the rave manual.

You do not need to remove the airbag. I just put a wood trim on my 2000. After you remove the glove box. There is a piece of foam glued to a metal support that you need to pry loose and remove, then you can get to the nuts. I also put wood on the doors. That was pretty easy too. The locations for the holes are already in the foam on the back side of the door panal. Just drill thru with about a 1/16 drill. Then drill thru the other side with 1/4" drill.
