With 255/85R16 and the nearly 3" terrafirma lift I had on my 2003, I would fit through my 7' garage door, but just barely. If I had less than about half a tank of gas, the rear of the factory roof rails would rub the door opening on the way in.

 

I believe Costco will not install plus sized tires. They will only install stock size.

I have a DII with a Terrafirma MD springs in front and Terrafirma SLS spacers in the rear and TF +2 shocks all around. Install was extremely easy.

I also have 18" rims and am looking at 255/70R18 or 275/65R18 (both are 32.1" in dia). 265/65R18 are 31.5" in dia. I am leaning toward Hanook Dynapro ATM, but also considering Nitto Terra Grapplers and an General Grabber AT2.

For a reference. I went from 18.75 to 21.25 in the front and 18.5 to 22 in the rear. There dimensions are from the center of the wheel to the wheel arch. The rave specifies 19.7 +/- 0.6" is stock. and my change is just from the springs and spacers.

 

Noticed you have the tires in your sig now. How close is the fit in the garage with the lift / tires? I am now looking at 275 65 18's, which should be about the same height as yours. How does it drive? Totally looking forward to this, just got the rest of the parts the other day. Now just waiting for time to clear for a fun project.

Lift and tires done. Terra Firma 2in lift with rear SLS spacers. Also replaced the steering stabilizer, which I highly recommend. 265/65 BFG All Terrain tires on the 18in wheels. This does fit in the 7ft garage door with about 2in to spare.

Yes, my Costco will install oversized tires. I checked with both my local stores, neither cared.

Up next, recommended if lifting:
1. Spacers for the crossmember. Driveshaft will hit this otherwise if the front axle travels too far.

2. Extended SS brake lines. The stock ones work, but are tight on full extension.

3. Front spring retainers. The front springs are shorter than the shocks will travel.

All three are usually not a problem until they raise the truck up to install of rotate the tires, or you are off road playing.
