Abran, I don't know enough about this to even be dangerous, but would 3D printing be viable for this product instead of incurring the upfront cost for a mold?

I'm sure you remember that's what Lowest Bidder did with the window rollers a while back. A company called Shapeways produces them to order and pays Lowest Bidder for each order filled.

 

I would be interested in one, also.

 

Unfortunately the 3D printing of this item is very costly.

This is to replace what looks like a Rats nest...it might actually be a rats nest for all I know.... Yea I would be down for one.

We have thought about that, but there is no OEM part number associated with this part. I think it would be difficult to merge into their system. But, we will reach out to them and see what they say.
