Default D2 no crank - nothing - at campsite

Slid off the trail last night at a steep angle, was winched up, now next morning no crank, no start. Not sure if related. Dash lights are good, tried to use jumper cables to get a jump, no change. So looks to be starter electrical related, or safety switch of some kind is my guess. I am going to check connection at starter as first step. Any other ideas of fuses or switches to chech? Could it be brake pedal switch?

Look over the ground connection well. I snapped one loose from that cheesy connection behind battery compartment. Check inertia switch on firewall too

Update, pulled ign to solenoid connector & hot lead and cleaned contact points. Tested ign solenoid lead with meter to ground, no reading when attempt to start. Conclusion: elec issue blocking ign system powering starter. (Note, I miss my PC keyboard. Smartphone typing is not for me). Pulled brake pedal switch, I knew it would not be the problem since I have a new spare with me. Tested outside pins and shiwing open & close. Not 100% sure of pins, but one main to other two changes with plunger position, one open when other is closed snd visa versa.

Tried to start in N, and wiggle, shifter, no change. Day is slipping away here, any suggestions appreciated. .....

And yes, Zack strsightened me out on the brake switch, it would lock it in Park if failed, not keep it from starting.

Happy to help Tony, was a shame you didn't do the trials course!

Yea, I should of done it. My wife was ready to get on the road, so since no trail riding due to no start, I took here back to Blacksburg and a few miles and had a late lunch. I will definitely not miss the opportunity if presented again.

On another note, that dark green 2012 Defender 110 was great to have a look at. Thanks for your sponsorship. Sorry you will not be making the trip down to URE, but I know you goodies will find their way there. Tell Les thanks again as well. What was that key sequence for my notes please?
