Default D2 ****: Dry Ice cleaned the underside of my D2

Check this out. Cleaned up the underside of the D2 by having it dry ice blasted/cleaned at a shop in Seattle called Cryoworks (side note: highly highly highly recommend them). I did this as a bit of an experiment.

Left, untouched - Right, cleaned

RF wheel well - wow

Before - RF wheel well #2

Rear

Transfer Case

Left part cleaned, right part not yet cleaned

I looked into this once. It's big $$$$ to get this done. My guess is more than one thousand dollars.

This is obviously Computer Generated Imagery (CGI). It's amazing what Hollywood can make look real.

I'd be concerned with making plastics, lines, hoses, seals, and other soft/plastic bits more brittle than they already are.
