Hi everyone. I'm stumped. My D2 will shut off after a while. If I disconnect the battery for 15 minutes, it starts but dies again in the same way.

I did clean out the idle air control valve with throttle body cleaner. The problem did not go away.

Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

 

Additional info, I disconnected the IACV and it ran rough for almost 5 minutes and then did the same thing.

Thanks! I kept searching after this post and spoke with a friend. It seems like CPS is the culprit. Unfortunately, it will be a few days until it arrives.

I removed, cleaned, and reinstalled it in hopes that it would work until the part arrives. It ran much longer than before but eventually shut off.

 

It appears you were right. I changed it and the car has been on for 25 minutes now.
