D2 swap back to air ride
I've got an aluminum panel on my D2's rear cargo door. Since I don't have the Subwoofer installed I'm thinking of doing a custom air pump install.
I can route 12v super easy to the door, and I plan on installing the pump on the backside of the panel with rubber bushings to keep the vibration down, then redo the wiring and put an On/Off switch on the aluminum panel, and then have an airline quick disconnect installed on the aluminum panel so I can quickly install/remove one of those 50ft coil air line hoses. It would be out of the way and a nicely custom install.
The ARB pump or something similar should be able to fit in the space inside the door.
Although I removed SLS from my 99 D2 I kept all the hardware.

Most aftermarket dealers sell them but try here:

Be very careful which way up you fit the piston ring or you'll end up with zero compression. XR8 seem to do a good download and vid.
