I will try a switch while I do option B, and before I seal it back up. I assume I'll have to reset codes, but that's easy enough.
As I agreed above, I don't want to gamble turning the truck off to turn off TC either. Murphy's Law says it doesn't start back at the worst possible time.

Hi guys, I am after some technical information on my 2003 D2 v8 upgrade, is there an official Land Rover website where I can get info on how exactly the traction control works with and without the center diff lock, and whether there is a way to turn off the traction control when required ...

I don't the idea of turning it off either.
When I originally asked about this in another thread, I wanted to know if basically option B could be done with an inline toggle switch. So you could turn off abs, hdc, and tc all by flipping one switch.
Assuming so, if flipping the switch back then turns them all back on, or if codes must be cleared first(I have an Ultragage and a Nanocom).

If you had option B all you’d have to do is unplug it. 3 Amigo heaven as soon as you turn the key.
Vs other vehicles out there the TC on the D2 is really no where near as sensitive. Off road it does it’s job excellent. On the highway I’ve never had it come on say when driving in the rain. My work truck = TC and ABS pulsates constantly the entire drive in the rain for example.
I’ve drifted a D1/D2 a few times & I can tell you right now doing that on a regular basis & you’ll be swapping TC’s out often.
