Yeah the G4 in CA I bet, I had contacted him as well and heard nada zip nothing.

In my area I know of at least 3 G4's, one is actually in Beaumont, TX, but the owner seems to have just bought it without knowing anything and seemed upset that I went out of my way to say hello (while in my Kalahari), the other two I've seen in Galveston, with LR Houston tire covers. One is all decked out in stickers while the other is 100% plain.

Was on craigslist today, searching around the midwest area looking for an 04 (yes, I'm retarded)...and all together...probably saw fifty Dll's (MI, OH, IL). So, I would assume that probably 5% of the rovers are for sale in these areas.

Probably 40%/50% of the rovers for sale had issues (engine/trans).

I'm going to say...12%...are left on the road.

Do we know the answer?

Brian.

It may be the one in Beaumont. The one I was trying to buy was in Los Cruses, NM.

I have an 04 Discovery Trail Edition that only had 46k on the clock. Think it prob has the lowest mileage in the country

I do not know the answer. trying to get a consensus so we can see the size of the potential market when developing products.

Sorry for the thread hijack...

I'm guessing over 50% but under 60%. That's just based on a hunch because I hardly ever see them at my local pick & pull lot.

Ask Paul Grant how many he has parted out add 15% to that and you should know

Sorry, but there was one for sale about a year and a half maybe two ago that only had 12 miles on it. I'd venture a guess that that one is the lowest. Haha

The G4 I saw on CL was in CA and the guy never returned any emails. There was a clean one in FL for sale a few weeks ago as well, but it was taken off of Ebay so probably sold locally.

The 3 G4's in my area aren't for sale, I've just come across them several times now. Back when I had my 97 RR Vitesse in AA Yellow I was driving by a bank and dang near crashed when I saw what appeared to be another AA Yellow Vitesse. I turned into the bank parking lot and parked right next to them. It was a middle aged woman who said her husband recently retired from the NFL playing for the Detroit Lions as a line backer. They moved to Austin, TX due to their daughter going to Texas University. She asked a few LR questions took a pic of our RR's side by side and I saw it later on a few times at the LR Austin Dealership having some service done.

I have yet to have that experience with my Kalahari lol.
