Default Dash Curl

Anyone here had any luck repairing an upward curled dash? The edge closest to the windshield is curling upwards and it’s so annoying. I thought maybe a heat gun might work but haven’t tried it. Or is this wishful thinking and I should look for a replacement all together??

You may be able to glut it down , but very difficult.
There is a repair kit that is made of 2 pieces that sit on edge of curled section all the way across & you screw it down, I think it used to come in black & cream colors.

The repair kit works really well. Lucky 8 has them : https://lucky8llc.com/collections/discovery-ii-dash

Both dashes in my Discos are curled up pretty bad. I got lucky and found used ones in good shape I’ll be putting in. Not very easy, but I’m with you, it drives me nuts.

Mine was badly curled too. I tried gluing it down and it absolutely would not hold. When my windshield was out to be replaced I used some self-tappers to screw the dash down and painted the screws black. That worked but it'd be hard to do with the windshield installed.

I did mine a while back with this kit: https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-RD124...hoCeCQQAvD_BwE

Looks like it was done that way at the factory.
