Default Daytime running lights and the interior fuse panel

Okay, any help/experience is much appreciated. 2002 discovery SE. I’m wanting to have DRL and have tried enabling them with nanocom. The settings give 3 options, drl off, drl with the small bulb in the headlight, or headlights on all the time.
I have tried setting both options and they do turn on correctly for each option but they rapidly flicker and the interior fuse panel sounds like an old 8mm projector, rapid clicking.
Researching other threads, it is said that the DRL is run through relay 5 and 6 (interior fuse panel)
My panel doesn’t have a 5 or 6. I see that in the 03-04 vehicles it does exist. Is there an outside relay that I need to look for on a pre-facelift vehicle?
one other thing I tried in the nanocom, body outputs I think, I selected DRL “on” and the headlights turned on with no clicking, key position 2 not running. But I assume this is just for testing vehicle components.

My 02 panel looks like this, no 5 or 6

O3-04 panel, with a relay 5 and a jumper where 6 would go.

Just did this on my 00...

Per the TSB for 99-02:
1) add the metal resistor thing behind drivers headlight and remove the jumper/plug it in
2) Nanocom code DRL on
3) It should work

If you do not do #1 you get the rapid clicking in the pass fusebox

If you used "DRL" in your search terms, you should have received the following message at the top of your results:
The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search: drl
Meaning that you have to be a little more creative in your research.
