Default Default HG on a 2001 disco.

Iwas checking to see if the heads had been redone on my disco and I saw a tagfor victor reinz on the head gasket. Are they default or an indication of theheads being redone?

Nocurrent issue with the heads, coolant changed a couple months ago when an oldhose broke/water pump replaced

The OE head gaskets for LR are ELRING > https://www.elring.de/en/the-company/about-us/

Something like a Victor Reinz #54696 > More Information for MAHLE ORIGINAL/VICTOR REINZ 54696 are aftermarket replacements so someone replaced the head gaskets at least once.

You can SEARCH the VR catalog here > https://victorreinz.us/

im guessing you saw that on the valve cover gaskets. But most likely if they have that and more than 100k miles your HGs have been done.
