Guys,
I have been searching the forum and I found the opinions that the Disco can be easily modified to get you to all the places that a Defender can, but with a bit more comfort, BUT... is there any site that has an article with a more complete and formal comparison between those two cars?

 

The Land Rover Defender and the Land Rover Discovery Series I (first gen Disco) are the exact same truck underneath.
Same engine, same frame, same axles, same transfer case, same same.

 

So, the D90 body is worth a $30k upcharge?

 

That reminds me to make a change, the frame is not the same.
The Disco wheel base is 100", the D-90 is 90" and the 110 is 110" so the frames are different.
They are built the same, just different lengths.

 

Front axles are not the same either. There is a slight difference in the steering system, swivel pins etc. I saw that when I was surfing through Microcat the other day.
