Default diff fill plug seal/o ring/washer

Where do you get that? My new fill plugs didnt come with it (what the? ) and it is not listed as a separate part to purchase. It is however listed as a separate part in rave/epc.

A search revealed nothing... roversnorth and ab dont have it listed as a part either.

My front fill plug seal is about done and seeping. But before i remove the fill plugs and completely destroy the rubber gasket, i need to get a new one.

Save me from a trip to the evil dealer.

It's an o ring, check local auto shops and hydraulic shops for a replacement.

Go buy 2 brass replacement plugs from Expedition Exchange and you will never have another problem with them.

Plugs are fine, i need the gasket. The brass ones dont come with it either unless i order them from the uk (and they are cheaper than 20$, incl shipping).

I will spend less on gas and time just going to the dealer than wasting time hunting rubber at napa and the like. Thoroughly idiotic though.. It should come with the plugs. Ive never seen something like this before.

The brass plugs do come with an o-ring that doesn't need replacing.
Go buy the brass ones, cause the plastic plugs always crack and brake into pieces.

Thats good. I have the plastic ones and they will do for now. The stuff that was on the magnet on the rear diff and what is left over in the pan from it (gold dust) tells me a truetrac is in my immediate future. I just need it to last until july.

Front one is acceptable in terms of metallic content. So yeah, i'll get the metal ones when i change the diff in 2 months (or sooner if it fails. hope not, dont have time to deal with it now)
