Panzer, thank you very much. Just what I needed. Since I have not personally changed the transfer case oil, I will do that soon and use some synthetic oil. Then I will exercise the abilities of the vehicle while locking and unlocking the system. Sounds like a great excuse to tell the little woman I NEED to go off-road and play.

I bought this thing with the thought of being off the pavement more, now I just need to do it, huh?
I'm going to have a great week-end. My home-brew is ready to consume and my truck is BEGGING to be taken off-road!

Let us know how it goes this weekend while trying to work your linkage. I need a boost of morale so i can confidently install my DI linkage and not second guess the decision to go this route.
