Default Diff lock red, then TC and ABS

Hey Guys,

Over the past couple of years I've had my diff lock red light come and go occasionally, triggering my ABS and TC lights. They go away on their own and all is good.

Recently, they have come on and stayed on, diff lock red first then triggering ABS and TC - they went off one day but have been on since.

Any tips for things to check?

Thanks!

Default Locker?

Silly question, have you added the linkage to enable/disable the locking diff? There is a sensor that plugs into the top of the transfer case, and if you unplugged it, that diff light should never turn on. I'm guessing either a sensor or that the diff has somehow managed to lock itself? I'm also assuming that the diff lock signal is what mucks around with TC and ABS, since I read somewhere that once you engage the Diff Lock, it decreases the sensitivity/functionality of ABS and TC... Not my picture, but my markings. Let us know what happens.

You might want to crawl under the truck and ensure that the diff isn't actually locked.

Erik at Lucky8 made this handy video to explain it all.

If your diff is definitely unlocked, then the position sensor switch might be faulty and require replacement.
